Clear Collagen Professional contains 20,275 mg of multi-source collagen per serving, consisting of hydrolyzed collagen type I and collagen type II from ChondrActiv® hydrolyzed cartilage powder.

In our body, type I collagen is predominant. It is present in many tissues, including skin, tendons, bones, and cartilage.

This product is an enriched version of Clear Collagen from our Beauty line, which contains additional biologically active ingredients, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, to create a more complex drink. Its active ingredients can be grouped into 4 categories:

The product contains the amino acids glycine, proline, and lysine, which are necessary for the formation of collagen in the body and are its main constituent elements. In addition to these three amino acids, vitamin C also promotes the formation of collagen. This is what led us to add 180 mg of vitamin C to our product. Indeed, through normal formation of collagen, vitamin C contributes to the maintenance of normal function of blood vessels, cartilage, and skin, to the maintenance of normal bones, as well as to the maintenance of teeth and normal gums. Additionally, vitamin C helps protect cells against oxidative stress.

In addition to vitamin C, Clear Collagen Professional contains 11 vitamins and 3 minerals, including zinc and copper which come from organic sources. The product contains both water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamins. These active ingredients contribute to several processes in our body:

The active ingredients of the product also include hyaluronic acid, a high molecular weight polysaccharide (glycosaminoglycan) produced mainly by fibroblasts and other special connective tissue cells. Furthermore, hyaluronic acid and collagen have excellent water-binding abilities due to their specific amino acid side chains.

The formula also contains lutein from marigold flowers (Calendula Officinalis), a carotenoid naturally found in foods, especially green leafy vegetables such as spinach and kale.
